Hi there!
I am working on a swap for my downline meeting this weekend -- the theme is holiday cards. I designed this criss-cross card using the Holiday Harmony designer series double-sided paper. Stamp sets used on this card include: Season of Joy (holiday mini catalog); In the Spotlight Level 2 hostess set; Pricless; and Totally Tabs.
I love the Stampin' Up! punches, and I used two in this card: tab punch and the 5-petal flower punch.
I also used the Ice square rhinestone brads for the flower center.
If you haven't made a criss-cross card, here is how:
1. First, cut an 81/2"x11" piece of card stock in half vertically.
2. Score that in half (at the 5 1/2" mark).
3. On the front panel, slice diagonally along the long side.
4. Turn the cut off triangle piece over and adhere on the right side of the card. Place tape along right and bottom edges.
5. Adhere designer paper onto right triangle card stock.
6. Place left triangle flap over right and adhere tape along bottom edge. Adhere designer paper onto that triangle.
7. Embellish front as desired.
8. Create inside card for pocket (the one pictured measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"). And, voila! There is your criss cross card!
