At my Halloween decor class, we made several cute items, most of which were showcased at the July Stampin' Up! convention. The cylinder craft is just a Pringles can covered in the Creepy Crawly paper. The band around it features the ghost from the "Batty for You" stamp set. I just crimped strips of card stock for the band around the lid and the "hair" looking pieces coming from the top. Very easy and a cute decoration.
The paper lanterns were also shown at convention... I purchased a spooky tree and made several lanterns for it. The larger lanterns use 12 1x6" pieces of Creepy Crawly paper, and the smaller lanterns use 8 1x4" pieces of paper. The larger lanterns are much easier to put together (in my opinion). Each lantern has a paper charm hanging from it (different stamps from the Batty for You set). Images copyright Stampin' Up! 1990-2007
I will be having many Christmas project classes this fall. If you are interested in attending, please email me at sthogi@cin
