Game Night Scrapbook Pages

For my downline meeting swap on Sunday, I created this 6x6" scrapbook page spread using the new Game Night stamp set and Jackpot Designer Series Paper. I used the Taffy alphabet for the titles. Inks used include: Real Red and Versamark. Card stock: Real Red, Basic Black, So Saffron and Very Vanilla. I embossed with Winter White embossing powder and punched out the embellishments with the 1 3/8" circle punch and Scallop circle punch.

A Happy Heart card

Thanks to Marilyn Goodrich for this darling card idea! I loved it so much that I had my stamp clubs make this card in January. Supplies used include the darling A Happy Heart stamp set, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie ink pads; Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette and Pumpkin Pie card stock; Sweet Always Designer Series Paper; Pink Pirouette striped grosgrain ribbon; silver brad; corner rounder; 1/2" circle punch; key tag punch. Since I posted a picture on my daughter, Lindsay's birthday, I thought it was only fair that I did the same for my daughter Emma, who turned 16 today! I am getting older by the minute! :)  Here is another picture from our Sanibel trip... Emma (left), my mom and Lindsay are enjoying the wonderful sunset at the Mucky Duck (Captiva Island).

Bella Rose Tin

I was looking for ways to decorate these small metal tins, and here is an idea I came up with... I covered the top with the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper and Riding Hood Red paper. The "Friend" word features the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware (love that!). The tin is also embellished with the flower from "Enjoy Every Moment" stamp set, Riding Hood Red striped grosgrain ribbon, Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Kiwi Kiss Designer Series Paper, various circle punches and the scallop punch. Today is my daughter Lindsay's 13th birthday, so I had to put a picture of her on my blog. I don't usually include personal pictures, but we just returned from Sanibel Island (spent Christmas there) and I had to share these beautiful sunset pictures. I could live in a small shack on the beach just so I could see the sun set every night... there is nothing prettier. Enjoy! (By the way, if you have ever heard of the "green flash," then this will interest you. The night we took this picture, there were quite a few people who witnessed the green flash. Of course, I was too busy taking pictures to see it, but I was excited that people did!).
