I had fun playing with the new Matchbox Bigz XL die for the Big Shot machine. I used the beautiful Parisian Breeze specialty designer series paper, and I love how these little boxes turned out. The tags were made with the die, and I embellished them with the new Oval All stamp set and Scallop Oval punch featured in the new spring Occasions mini catalog tied on with the 5/8" Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon. Looking for some cute Easter ideas? Here is a cute idea that I modified from a card I found on Split Coast Stampers (sorry, I don't remember who the original idea came from). In this card, I used the following punches: large oval, 1 3/8" circle and 1 3/4" circle. Paper is Tea Party Designer Series Paper, Almost Amethyst and Pretty in Pink card stock; white organza ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, and Basic Black ink. Images copyright Stampin' Up! 1990-2009.
Here is a darling idea I copied from a wonderful blog: Stamping Diva. She has created so many darling items from punches. To make this little basket, you just need punches! The small and medium oval punches are used for the ears, arms, legs and feet (and pink belly). The face is created with the 1 3/8" circle and 1/2" circle punches. Eyes and nose were created using brads. I also sponged the cheeks with Pretty in Pink ink.
Botanical Blooms
Here is a card using the new Sale-A-Bration '09 stamp set called Botanical Blooms. It's a very simple card... simply punch the 2-step flower stamped with Regal Rose, Rose Red and Old Olive inks, with the new large oval punch. Also use the large oval punch with Regal Rose card stock to create medallion. Other items used include: Big Shot Top Note die cut, black and white gingham ribbon, Basic Black, Certainly Celery, and Rose Red Card stock. Images copyright Stampin' Up! 1990-2009.
Polka Dot Punches
This card features my personal favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Polka Dot Punches. Other Sale-A-Bration intems used in the card are the Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper and the Ribbon Blundle. Other items used include: Bashful Blue and So Safron ink pads and card stock, Fire square rhinestone brads, large oval punch, paper crimper and Stampin' Dimensionals.
