Happy Mother's Day!

For my April Stamp Clubs, we created this Mother's Day Card using the beautiful new Parisian Breeze specialty Designer Series Paper (cut out with the Top Note Bigz die). The Flower (from the Pretties Kit) was painted blue with the Aquapainter and Baja Breeze refill ink. Other items used: Creamy Caramel, Baja Breeze and Whisper White card stock; Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware and Pink Pirouette felt flower.

On another note, I want to pay special tribute to my sweet dog, Sam (pictured on the left with our 2-year old golden Kirby), who has bone cancer. The vet said it is time for us to give him the gift of peace. He was my 30th birthday gift, and I have loved every special moment with him the past 12 years. I love him dearly and will never forget his loyal, faithful friendship. If only people could love you unconditionally like dogs do! :(

Raspberry Tart DSP Stationery Box

Being a huge pink and green fan, I just love Raspberry Tart Designer Series paper! For my giftables club this month, we made stationery boxes with four cards. Here are some of the things we made! :)

The box fronts are fun to decorate. Here, I used the sticky die cuts "Sweet" with the Supernova glitter. I also used the new Oval All stamp set with the Scallop Oval Punch (my new favorites!) for the greeting. The handle is made with 18" of Pink Pirouette striped grosgrain ribbon. One of the cards we made was very simple and cute (inspired by my wonderful downline, Marilyn Goodrich Marilyn's Web Site). Use the Curly Label punch and just punch the designer paper of your choice and arrange like a quilt:
