Fall officially begins this Friday. While I am a self-proclaimed "summer girl," the fall season does get me in the mood to stamp! :) Here are some creations that we will be making at my classes at the end of the month. If you haven't signed up yet, there are still a few spots available. Email me if you would like more information!
Fall abounds with the new Gently Falling and Hand-Penned Holidays stamp sets and the Spice Cake designer series paper. Add a little Dazzling Diamonds glitter and Soft Suede and Pool Party card stock, and you're good to go. I really like these colors together!
Pinwheels are everywhere in the new idea book and catalog! For this card, I cut small squares out of the Flirtatious designer series paper, cut diagonally, and folded the corners in. I placed them in a circle and affixed with a silver glimmer brad. Other items used include the Houndstooth embossing folder for the Big Shot, oval punch, oval scalop punch, Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon, and So Saffron, Melon Mambo and Wisteria Wonder card stock.
Here is a card idea incorporating fall colors and berries from the stamp set Clearly for You. I stamped with Black Staz On ink and used the Aqua painter to color in. I stamped the Pumpkin Pie card stock wtih the swirl stamp from Baroque Motifs and punched a large oval in the center for the berries to be placed behind. It has a 3-D effect with Stampin' Dimensionals. I used the Framed Tulips embossing folder for the Big Shot for the card base. I also used the new Demim ribbon - love that!
This last card is an adaptation of a card I received from convention swaps. It's very cute and simple. Circles were punched out of the Paisley Petals designer series paper and arranged on a piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock. The card base is Cajun Craze. Other embellishments include Early Espresso ribbon and scallop edge punch.
